Safeguarding & Child Protection Services

As a student-run association operating across multiple schools, the Library Monitors Association (LMA) maintains its own Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy, designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all Library Monitors and affiliated student staff. This policy complements and aligns with the safeguarding standards of each host school in which we operate. To protect the privacy and personal security of all LMA Staff, personal contact information—including personal phone numbers—must never be requested, shared, or used for any form of communication. Personal phone numbers are strictly confidential and are not to be utilized for reporting issues, making inquiries, or submitting complaints. Any individual who wishes to contact a member of the LMA Staff, raise a concern, report an incident, or submit formal communication must do so through the official channels of the school in which the respective LMA branch operates. These channels ensure accountability, proper documentation, and adherence to safeguarding procedures. Official contact emails for each branch are as follows: > British School Muscat: hello@britishschoolmuscat.com > AMITY Muscat: reception@mis.edu.om > A'soud Global School: administration@agsmuscat.edu.om All communication must be directed to the appropriate address above, after which it will be forwarded internally to the relevant LMA representatives in accordance with school safeguarding protocols
